This driveway in Scagglethorpe was refreshed using a traditional surface dressing system, creating a smart red granite finish that complements the surrounding brick and stone property.
The existing driveway was first thoroughly pressure washed to remove dirt and loose material and prepare the surface. A cold-applied VLS bituminous binder was then applied before the area was dressed with 10mm red granite chippings.
The finished surface provides a hard-wearing, attractive driveway while retaining the character of the property and neatly following the existing curved edges, planting areas and buildings.
